Introduction to the Art Therapist
Emma Cubitt is an accredited Art Therapist, Cross Profession Supervisor and artist with over 20 years’ experience in supporting people with mental health challenges. Emma graduated from C.I.T. with a First class honors, Masters in Art Therapy. She is a fully registered accredited member of the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists (IACAT). Emma attends regular clinical supervision adhering to the IACAT code of ethics. With additional knowledge, training and 15 years’ experience in supporting people on the Autism spectrum, Emma adapts a person centered approach to her practice placing emphasis on the importance of the individual. She is an assistant lecturer in MTU Crawford College of Art and Design, Department of Arts in Health and Education, and has had experience of working on the Master’s program Art Therapy. Working in private practice, in a welcoming space, providing client centered integrative approach.

Professional Fees
Professional fees are based on accrediting organisation, IACAT's fee structure. There are some discounts that are available to students, unemployed and those on a low income.
COVID
Classified as an Essential Service during Covid-19
The therapist is fully Covid-vaccinated and continues to work face-to-face with individual clients.
Art Materials
A range of art materials are provided for both online and in person sessions.

Irish Association Of Creative Arts Therapy (I.A.C.A.T.) govern practicing Art Therapist in Ireland.
